The 12 Rashis
Water — Cancer, Scorpio & Pisces
Feeling, depth, and dissolution.
The three water signs
Cancer (Karka) — movable water, ruled by the Moon
Symbol: the crab. Lord: the Moon — the only sign the Moon owns.
Movable water initiates feeling: it reaches out, attaches, shelters, and takes things personally. Cancer is home, mother, memory, and the instinct to protect. A planet here gains sensitivity and a caretaking reflex, and defends itself sideways rather than head-on.
Scorpio (Vrishchika) — fixed water, ruled by Mars
Symbol: the scorpion. Lord: Mars.
Fixed water holds what it feels — and doesn't let it show. Scorpio is depth, secrecy, research, crisis and regeneration: what's under the surface rather than on it. A planet here gains intensity and endurance, and a reluctance to disclose.
Pisces (Meena) — dual water, ruled by Jupiter
Symbol: two fishes, usually swimming in opposite directions. Lord: Jupiter.
Dual water dissolves boundaries: imagination, compassion, retreat, surrender. Pisces is the last sign — the end of the cycle, where individual outlines soften. A planet here gains imagination and wide sympathy, and loses definition.
Remember it
Cancer holds you, Scorpio holds it in, Pisces lets it all go. Cancer movable, Scorpio fixed, Pisces dual — the trio completes both grids one final time.
