Divisional Charts (Vargas) · Gurukul Plus

The Dasamsa & the Wider Family

The career chart, and how the sixteen divisionals fit together.

This chapter is part of Gurukul Plus

The foundational curriculum — grahas, rashis, bhavas, nakshatras, dashas and how to read a chart with them — is free to read here and free to practise in the app. Divisional Charts (Vargas) is one of the advanced chapters, and its teaching text comes with Plus.

Plus is ₹199 a month, or ₹1,999 a year. It opens every advanced chapter and raises your saved charts from one to four, so you can work on family charts alongside your own. Both plans renew until you cancel, and cancelling takes one click.

Writing up your experience in the community earns Plus days too — see the subreddit.

The dasamsa (D10): Each sign in ten parts of 3°; the chart read for career, profession and public action.
The wider varga family: Sixteen divisionals in the classical shodashavarga, each assigned to a department of life.
Reading vargas without over-reading: A varga refines the rasi chart; it never contradicts it into irrelevance, and needs an accurate birth time to mean anything.
