D9 confirmation: A vargottama 7th lord or Venus keeps its D1 promise. A D1 7th lord in a D9 dusthana weakens it.
Darakaraka and Upapada as witnesses: Jaimini significators that reinforce the 7th-house picture or colour how marriage forms. They are witnesses, not portraits.
What survives a shaky birth time: The 7th house, its occupants, the D9 and the Upapada are time-sensitive. Planetary signs and the Darakaraka are steadier.
