Computing an arudha pada: Count from the house to its lord, count the same again from the lord; if that lands on the house or its 7th, take the 10th from there.
The Arudha Lagna: The arudha of the 1st house: how the person is seen, as distinct from the lagna, which is who they are.
Reading Jaimini points without over-reading: Each point is one witness. Count agreement across both systems, flag fragile assignments, and never read looks, dates or verdicts from a single karaka.
