Dasha Lab: Timing Real Events · Gurukul Plus

Capstone: Timing One Event, Honestly

A full worked timing on a made-up chart, and the limits that keep timing humane.

This chapter is part of Gurukul Plus

The foundational curriculum — grahas, rashis, bhavas, nakshatras, dashas and how to read a chart with them — is free to read here and free to practise in the app. Dasha Lab: Timing Real Events is one of the advanced chapters, and its teaching text comes with Plus.

Plus is ₹1,999 a year, paid once. Nothing auto-renews. It opens every advanced chapter and raises your saved charts from one to four, so you can work on family charts alongside your own.

Writing up your experience in the community earns Plus days too — see the subreddit.

Terms introduced here

Promise before period
A dasha only delivers what the natal chart promises. A generic description of a graha's period ('Venus = romance') skips the chart entirely.
How maha and antar lords relate
Count from one lord to the other: 1/1, kendra and trikona positions tend to cooperate; 6/8 and 2/12 tend to pull apart. Friendship and real links adjust it.
The Jupiter–Saturn double transit
Both Jupiter and Saturn occupying or aspecting a house or its lord at the same time. Common enough that it never times anything on its own.
Timing without fear
Windows, not dates. No death or illness timing, no period described as a sentence, and a missed window is never a denial.
