What you can now do

You can now read any house in four moves:

1. Signification — what does the house govern? (self, wealth, marriage, career…)
2. Family — is it a kendra, trikona, dusthana, or upachaya?
3. Lord — house → sign → ruler.
4. First read — where does the lord sit, and how strong is it there?

Where this leads

This is the foundation the rest of Jyotish is built on. The Yogas track combines house lords (a kendra lord meeting a trikona lord = Raja Yoga), and dasha reading asks which houses the period's lord rules and how they fare. Every one of those rests on what you just learned.

The one-line summary

The house is the topic. The lord tells the story. The placement sets the tone — as a tendency, never a fate.

Reading a house through its lord

A house's affairs tend to flourish when its lord is well-placed (kendra/trikona, own/exalted) and ask for effort when the lord is in a dusthana or debilitated — a first read, not a verdict.
